I get you're promoting body positivity but that isn't the way. I don't like the normalizing of that mentality where being overweight is treated as a predisposition. When it isn't. Being a little overweight is fine. But if you're big and it's actually causing health issues then it's not something we just have to accept.

Liking how you are isn't same as accepting yourself and vice versa. He probably accepted for a long time that maybe he isn't someone who could get "FITtm" and stuff. But getting better stamina, more visible shape of your body and other is more than satisfactory, even if one can't get a beach bod.

Health issues though do matter in a long run.
