Finally I get into everybody's favorite Pogo character: the reporter from Newslife Magazine, whose name was Typo. He came out in 1956 to investigate the presidential campaign of Pogo, whom his research notes said was a rabbit, not an opossum. Things spun out of control from there. This copies the scene where Typo learns he's been talking to Pogo all this while and didn't even know it.
So: how did I reproduce the speckled dot pattern of Typo's jacket there? It turns out the easiest way was dabbing my soft rubber-tipped stylus on the iPad a jillion times. This is why every got is a little horizontally-aligned rectangle about twice as wide as it is tall. Absolutely none of the drawing tools I could find would do anything reasonably speckled, even if their demonstrations looked speckled. Bah. Anyway, the speckles make this picture look better when it's small.
