I love going to the zoo. I will not only do Life Drawing renditions of the animals, but quick little caricatures as well. These were my favs in a batch I did bakc in 2009.

That beaver is getting a LOT of attention! I'm glad... I thought it would be the most "boring" one!
Yah, the Lion was more a take on the attitude of the one I was drawing at the zoo. They have a very "snooty" one that thinks he's all that. It's funny to see him try to get along with his brother. XD

Can't stand the beaver...LOL Sorry had to. But no really that Beaver is just adorable. Every animal has their own charm.
The lion looks regal and high of himself, the bat looks nuts :P. The seal looks adorable and cuddly. The Crane looks kind of un impressed of being there.
But you should put that beaver on something. Make a business card with it.

LOL! I was almost aghast that you said that! I was like- REALLY?! So far everyone's loving it, and this the only hater?! But you pulled a good one.
Yah, that Heron was a little inspired by my Sensei.. who no doubt secretly looks this way when I do something wrong in the dojo- for the THOUSANDTH time!
