I love it too! They're both adorable! Ahya (the tail) might look scary, and sure she is quite carnivorous, but she can also be a cuddly softy too! ;)

Does the tail also do the vocals or back up vocals as you do electric guitar?

Nah, it doesn't have any vocal chords, so it can do no speaking/singing. However, it can hold a mean drum stick and bang out those drums! Since she has to rely on touch and taste to sense her world, unlike Taylor, she relies on something like echo-location. Before each song starts, she'll do a test smack on the set to get a visual representation in sound waves as it hits her so she can work with the song perfectly as the rest of the band plays.

A fascinating construct an echo locating tail based on harmonic resonance like a bat to see its world surroundings, that is quite the hind brain.
Is "she" also the mascot, as that face reminds me of the sinister smiley icon.

Taylor used special fur paint to draw the eyes on as a means of making her look more menacing for the stage. Although initially the back-up singer and lead guitarist, she became the biggest draw for the audience. Everyone thinking it to be an animatronic tail or some sort of technical wizardry, clamored to see more of it with her on stage. Nobody but her own band knew it was truly real, let the audience think what they want. It drew in the numbers.

I will take that as a yes, as you 2 appear to be quite the adventurers, and the tail is quite the cuddle partner indeed.

The tail is actually adept at playing drums! So she's multi-talented! lol
