I really did like my concept of the Resue. But I wasn't quite so satisfied with the pic of the Resue father and son. So I decided to draw up a new pic and do some revisions to the specie's appearance. I'm quite happy with the new look I've given them. ^^

For those of you unfamiliar with the Resue their a Reptilian species. Society wise their fairly open accepting to anything so long as it doesn't harm others. Their very calm and rational. They're pretty strong and generally have better senses then humans. Especially sight. Resue thrive in the heat and it actually can make them stronger. Resue hold about a dozen worlds most of which are rich in resources. As a result of this the Resue have come under attack many times in their history by other species and have had to defend their worlds. They're master warriors and tacticians. They haven't lost any War they've ever fought in and thus far no war has ever reached their homeworld.

As a consequence of their logical nature and their pre interstellar travel history they aren't a very religious people. Any that do hold spiritual beliefs tend to be very general such as belief in existence after death or existence of a deity of some sort. However even the vageuly spiritual of their species look upon the organized religions of many other species with humor, confusion, and unease. They know from their ancient history what power these faiths can wield and what harm can be done. The southern most continent on their homeworld is a radio active bad land in which few creatures live. It was rendered this way by a holy war over the patch of land two opposing sides belied their species started on. These factions used nuclear weaponry and essentially destroyed themselves and brought ecological disaster that took their world many ceturies to recover from.

Resue however are generally good, honest, and noble beings however. Although they've fought many Wars they've never annihilated another species. Only sent them packing back to where they came. The Resue practice controlled genetic modification to the population. A new gene modification however must be tested for decades under extreme scrutiny before they are implemented though. Another interesting note on the Resue is that although rational and calm in most instances they still have very strong parental instincts. This instinct is one of the few things that will still drive them to extreme violence.

Kavar here more specifically is the Fleet tatics adviser and does some work in general policing of various public areas. He's a well read individual who takes pride in knowing a little something on any particular topic. Makes a point to try and understand others. Generally quite a pleasant person. Although he does dislike the various human outpost established nearby. They do bring in opportunity for knowledge and profit it also brings in head aches as well. Many times humans don't tend to know Resue regulations and this leads to Kavar here having to come in and smooth things over. Perhaps issue a ticket or citation. Kavar here doesn't quite know what to make of these humans. But he knows that they're not going to go away so he's been making an effort to get to know them. Such as trying various human foods. Specifically pizza and burgers. His thoughts on them. "The pizza is good. But damn the meat used in the lil round red disc things and these burgers is from a mammal? Who knew mammals could taste so good." XD OH and if your wondering about that thing under his eye. That's the displace interface piece for the quantum computer he's wearing. That lil blue thing on his loin cloth is the quantum computer. Kavar loves his small gadgets.
