Pointy burrito
Wagner, the Head of Hunam Relations, is displeased with and Q1 and beginning Q2 performance. We’re going to have to regroup and discuss our opportunities for the rest of the year.
This isn’t a super artistic photo, but I wanted to share some tips that I learned from the vet with other animal lovers:
- If you are giving your Bearded Dragon medicine, you can put them in a burrito the same way you can with other animals. Just set them back about an inch and fold the cloth over their feet first and leave some room to cover your hand. They may get wiggly, and you don’t want to get poked.
- Run the dropper along their lips (??) until they get angry enough that they gape and you can get it in their mouth. Put it back in the corner of their mouth toward the back of their tongue so that they can’t hold it in their cheeks and spit it back out.
- Reptiles don’t generally take well to hand feeding and you can expect even otherwise docile pets to respond poorly. It’s OK.
- Reptiles take longer to respond to treatment than some other pets. Rabbits either recover or crash very quickly (24 - 48 hours); reptiles can take a week or two based on the length of the treatment.
- Bearded dragons are prone to heart murmurs when they get older. Symptoms include lethargy, swollen eyes, and weakness.
If you’re concerned about the health of your scaly friend, talk to your local specialist vet! It’s faster, but I think we’ve all gotten bad advice from pet stores and/or the internet at this point. Especially now, most are probably happy to discuss basic information over the phone, and veterinary care is considered an essential service in the event that it is needed.

He really is very unhappy with this turn of events, lol. I’ve been surprised because he’s usually quite mellow and forgiving, but nope. Apparently the beef flavoring of the medication is not enough to appease him.
And 100% they’ve stabbed me on numerous occasions. I’m used to it, though. He loves to cuddle, which is a bit of a prickly arrangement. I let him do it because I’m a marshmallow and I love him.
Thank you He’s an old boi, but he’s is very handsome.
