I feel like absolutely no one should be shocked that my favorite Ratchet and Clank character is Dr. Nefarious.

I came to the horrible realization that I never drew Dr. Nefarious before - or any Ratchet and Clank fanart for that matter - so I had to fix that immediately.

You know what made me come to this realization? Me watching the movie of all things. I ended up really liking the Ratchet and Clank movie, even if it was more like "The Captain Qwark and Dr. Nefarious Movie with some alien cat and his little robot friend". Kinda annoying if you wanted a movie to actually be about the stars Ratchet and Clank, but my favorite characters are indeed Qwark and Nefarious so I had a good time.

Also man, squishy Nefarious's backstory is heartbreaking. All that guy wanted was a proper laboratory and some respect and he got neither and relentless bullying basically caused him to snap like a bitter twig. Sure, doesn't excuse the whole "trying to blow up an entire solar system" thing he was gonna do, but it sure doesn't make Qwark look good either.

Also it turns out this guy is a lot funner to draw than you would think. I think once I realized he's basically just a robot skeleton, he became easier for me to figure out.
