My new home computer is built around an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU. The system is a “hackintosh” that is capable of booting either MacOS or Windows 10. It’s a pretty significant upgrade over my 10-year-old iMac.

The 3600 is the mainstream current Zen 2 generation of the Ryzen's- it's a great chip still. My first Ryzen experience was building my brother's desktop, which used the Zen+ Ryzen 5 2600~ I started my AMD rig off with the Ryzen 7 1700X as a stopgap, then upgraded to the 3800X in January~
