A photo from NARBC in Tinley on February 14th, 2010. Fun show even though nothing came home with me lol
This was a baby borneo short tail python/borneo blood that I absolutely fell in love with. I'm handling him in this photo. He was hatched out in September and would have come home with me but I didn't have a tub ready for the little dude. Luckily I was smart enough to leave my credit card at home to prevent such impulse buys. Bloods and short tails tend to have a reputation of being a bit feisty but I think its undeserved. Definitely one of my favorite types of snake and officially on the list of Must Have reptiles. They grow up to be such awesome sausage snakes :)
I'll be posting some other neat photos from NARBC in my scraps for anyone interested.

Haha he was a business card holder for the breeder. My bottom hand is in the perfect position to hide the cards though.
And yes, they are pretty amazing! They're fantastic pets in my opinion and many species can be very docile and sweet to handle in captivity. This little guy's a perfect example even though he did try to pee on me a little after this shot was taken.
