Learning new stuff is good, but don't lose your original style. You've got a pretty unique and recognizable shading style after all! It reminds a little of some of the art in the first edition Dungeons & Dragons manuals. Also how you use it to show a sort of 'flex and tension' and extra contour in not-really-shaded areas. It makes dynamic poses look.. well.. dynamic!
