Ever since I bought my first YCH commission from FA Artist and now superheorine-like bestie,  tragicfame I have really been feeling more and more and more positive about what I'm doing these days. It's been a slow progress to healing up and regaining my vim and vigor through the last few years with all of the ups and downs that I have had, but my friend listens to what's bubbling in the back of my head. While I try not to open up bad cans of angst, I'm not afraid to speak my mind and just share with her what's been happening ... and I like to think she is the same way with me. We speak usually during the weekdays, especially while I sit in my office and sip my coffee or have a second breakfast. McDonald's seems to be the main thing at 4 am before I hit the ground running with the scanning for the Firm. And yet, I get so silly giddy when I get a note from her! All she has to do is ask, "How is your day going?" and I'm thrilled. But, as a good friend, I try my best to be there for her as well, just listening as she does for me.

One of my favorite moments was when I got my HUGE box from Amazon. I wondered why so big and I couldn't remember for the life of me what was in it. It said "4 Sharks" and I thought, "Ok ... I'll have to get it home and check it out. When I mentioned to TragicFame about the box, she laughed and asked me to tell her when I opened it. I got home later that evening and opened it up. Sure enough it was four sharks! I had ordered four sharks. A commenter had said that I could get a shark plushie online and had sent me a link to Amazon (I think it was Amazon or I might have looked up the product on-line.) Nevertheless, they had come in and I had four ... I had thought I was getting two. Then after calling Amazon to mention this to them ... the girl on the phone giggled and said that each order got the customer one! Oh! I thought ... I know see what happened. So, I mentioned this to TragicFame and I think she about spilled her beverage at my innocent stupidity. "Well, I must have still been asleep when I was online and shopping," I replies with a shrug. TragicFame undoubtedly shook her head and just laughed right along with me. "Enjoy your sharks, honey." So I did ... the five of us watched Thundercats (the original) a weekend ago.

Since December and the Thundercats, I have been very fortunate to have been able to call TragicFame a best friend. Even though I try never to treat any friend differently, treating them all like best friends, sometimes you find someone who clicks with you and just makes your life that extra special. Everyone has someone like that in their lives. I ask y'all to go out and celebrate life with your best friend or even a whole bunch of friends. Do what you do together ... even if it is doing this thing called "Social Distancing!" ... use the technology for getting together. Play video games, draw together, heck ... even eat lunch together. Making faces at each other like me and a few people did the other day can be fun!
