Today is April 4th. I have been on vacation for 3 days (technically 4 - I hurt my foot on Tuesday and had to call out on Wednesday due to the swelling, but we're not counting that).

Taking the chance offered me, I have already finished my April painting challenge! 165 points of Grot Tanks! As mentioned in my last post, my Grots heard of something called a Tiger Tank that was supposedly very dangerous. They looked up 'tiger,' but forgot to enter the word 'tank,' and decided that they must be dangerous due to the orange, striped paint on the tanks! So my Grot army will make liberal use of tiger stripes for its vehicles! Why? Because I CAN! Yes, my painting is kind of sloppy. I am not a good painter, being much better at scratch-bashing, conversions, and kitbashing than painting. Still, they have 3 colors, so they're tournament legal! Not that I play in tournaments, but still...

Blue, or 'Blasta' Skwad, is made up of four former Deffskullz grots. As such, in addition to equipping their tanks with kustom mega-blastas and shootas, they each decided to apply a small amount of blue to their tanks. One has dags on it, another has da blue skull, and so forth. Blue/Blasta One is the personal tank of "Big Aggie," a rather heavy grot who likes to ride around in his personal tank. Not shown in this pic are the rather LARGE access doors on the back of Blue/Blasta One that Aggie needs in order to get into and out of his tank.

Now to paint something to cover the March challenge that I was forced to take a mulligan on...
