Continuing with my redraws of Walt Kelly's Pogo characters. This is a redrawing of a daily strip from 1959, part of a thread where Pogo helps a young fish learn how to swim. In the original, Pogo's head is a little closer to his body, so that Kelly did not have to bluff his way through where Pogo's chin was. I imagine that's the sort of thing he learned how to stage over the course of his drawing career.
