It is an interesting idea actually. Like if you have a specific form you transform into. What if it does have some kind of damage to it? IE say you turn into a dragon, and you lose a leg in that form for whatever reason. Would subsequent transformations into that form lack said leg? Would you not get your leg back going back to human? Lots of ways you can play around with the process and mechanics of TF.
There's a whole lot of emotion in this, and though it's an unhappy changing you-dragon, it's always nice to see TF with thought/meaning behind it. I feel like changing like a lot of us fantasize about would be wonderful, but it wouldn't solve all problems and magically make everything in life fixed.
