Good Evening citizens, Talia Newton in with the evening report.
The war effort has been going well, the disturbance earlier this week has been confirmed as the death knell of an Imperial Titan. Per records named Dues Amentis, it was spotted by our forces during a conflict between Imperial and Zeirhiem forces earlier last month. A strike forces comprised of our two titans were sent to hunt down the enemy monster and destroy it completely. It seems that they succeed as the explosion was seen from not only the hive, but there are reports from the crews in the space dock that they saw the flash from the explosion. We do have reports that the titans are now back safely in the hive and later this week a celebration is planned for victory.
Though kept secret was that during the defense of the hive the pilot of the warhound Geri was killed in action. A new pilot was found and trained in the interim and it was this pilot that did the most damage and dealt the killing blow to the Imperial monster. The new pilot was revealed to be a resident of our fair hive, originally adept Dalenka DeForest, she was granted the title of Precept when she took the mantle of piloting the warhound. We’ll have a more detailed bio-report for you later in the broadcast.
On other fronts, the Lyall Station was officially handed over to Molovian forces yesterday in exchange for tactical and logistical support of the Gallayan forces in their attack against the orks in the Takhi Wastes. How successful this move by our Imperial allies is unknown, but authorities stated that this is a step in the right direction.
It was also told to this station that the Imperial forces of Lord Kaltos are on the run after the rebel faction managed to capture Port Maleko, their primary landing site. Additional reports are also coming in that the orks and rebels have seized much of their territory. The last of the refugees from the north lands are arriving thru the Banu Pass. Once they are thru Hive command plans to close the pass and fortify the area in preparations for the next phase of the war.
