Next is a character that was actually among my top 6. One that I want so much that I had to struggle giving this one to my partner but as I had a top 10 to pull from and they only had just the 6, I figured I'd be nice~ Still, something from Hollow Knight would greatly be appreciated, even if it's just a Mii costume of the Knight. Now you may be wondering why specifically Hornet and not the Knight itself, well both my partner and I agree that Hornet generally seems more versatile of a character. While the Knight wouldn't exactly be a bad choice, what it does is very generic. Hornet's moves we both feel can be expounded on a more and with a lot more flourish. There is also the fact that the next game is going to star her, so she's more relevant but... that's neither here nor there.

Of course, another factor is that she's female and up until now we've not had a single female character added in so that would be nice to see but I think 'my' main reason for choosing Hornet over the Knight is that she's actually a character with a personality and a name! ...not that that's ever once been an issue in Smash Bros. but ya know, I like my characters to be actually 'characters' and not blank templates for ones or character substitutes to use in place of actual characters... but that's me.
