12yo Kaylee dawning her, at this point, newfound armor she stumbled upon inside a crashed alien ship. Of course the undersuit was too large for her to wear plus she wouldn't have been able to move around as fast. Add to that the minimalistic nature of her armor would help to keep her body cool in the heat of the jungle.
