QQ and he's a shifter (swiftstride subrace)! i was allowed to do pretty much whatever i wanted with him aesthetics-wise, so he's more "beast-like" than the official guidelines strictly call for, but... sometimes... you just gotta give a boy paws... otherwise, he adheres totally to the official ruleset!

my dm is SO wonderful i love him!!!!! puts up with so many really dumb things i do and say lmao

i sometimes add little bits of homebrew (my strahd character currently has the stat sheet of a halfling but is a human with a little bit of fiend or demon or SOMETHING in her bloodline to explain some of those features, for example) but i'm really hopeless at reading a paragraph and figuring out how to translate that into a character sheet, so i just build my characters on dndbeyond because it does everything for me and has its own point-buy system that is very fair so i use that instead of rolling for stats! i like the balance of official stuff but flavor of homebrew... :P
