1 and a half hours had passed, and after casting Stopza numerous times, and using several bottles of Ether, the lesson that Lego thoroughly went through with Synnabunn was complete. Having the newfound confidence, Synnabunn thanked Lego for all of the help he provided to her, as she made her way out to the hallway to meet Squeek and Frizzy. Not knowing why their friend was happy and smiling, or what the talk she had with their substitute teacher was about, they were just happy that their friend wasn't feeling down anymore. As Lego looked out from the classroom towards the ground below, he watched as Squeek, Frizzy, and Synnabunn made their way out of the school, and were starting to leave the school grounds. Remembering how determined Synnabunn was in trying to learn made him smile, making him feel that she had the potential to get her grades higher than they currently were. But with the school day over, Lego packed his red book into his duffel bag, and was ready to head home. However, as he was about to leave the classroom, he heard several loud screams. Concerned, Lego ran to the classroom windows, and was greeted with a large shadow.


Casting the large shadow, was a giant creature, with its back turned to Lego, and it's attention was focused on Squeek, Frizzy, and Synnabunn. Seeing this threat, Lego ran as fast as he could out of the school, before the Monster could make an attack on the three. However, as Squeek, Frizzy, and Synnabunn began to run away from the large Monster, it began to charge towards them. As it raised one gigantic arm to strike, they quickly shut their eyes, and prepared for the worse. However, it never came, and when they opened there eyes, they saw Lego, blocking the Monster's attack, and was wielding a strange weapon. Lego pushed back the Monster, and made distance between them. Lego ordered them to run and get to safety, and in turn did what he said. But with Squeek, Frizzy, and Synnabunn worried for their new substitute teacher, they ran as fast as they could to the Brickhouse Bar. When Lego saw them run to safety, he was relieved to see them get away. But as this happened, the Monster dashed towards Lego, and created a large gust of wind to blow towards him. When Lego cleared his vision, he saw at the middle of the Monster's body, was an emblem. An emblem he was all too familiar with. It was a Heartless. Specifically, it was the Gear Golem Heartless.


Lego prepared himself, and was ready for a fierce battle. Lego dashed towards Gear Golem, and used Darkness's End. Lego wielded his Starlight Keyblade with his right hand, and summoned out the Diamond Dust Keyblade with his left. Lego swung his blades at the Golem, darkness and light trailing from the weapons, and bursting with each it, as he was able to strike Gear Golem 8 times with this attack, but wasn't enough to take it down. After the attack, Lego withdrew his Diamond Dust Keyblade. As this happened, Gear Golem hovered higher up into the air, where the top part of its body opened up, as several Gearbit Heartless came out. The Gear Golem then commanded the Gearbits to charge at Lego, flying towards him at full speed. Lego dodged the first attack, but saw how fast the other Gearbits Heartless were coming at him, and were very close together. Lego did his best to dodge the other Gearbits Heartless, but couldn't avoid sustaining hits from their fast movements, resulting in him getting bruises on his body, and tears on his suit. The Gearbits Heartless quickly went back inside the Gear Golem, as the top half closed, and started to go back to being near the ground. Lego may have been hurt from the attacks, but he was still able to fight.


Lego quickly charged towards the Gear Golem again, this time jumping up into the air, using Sonic Blitz. What followed was Lego jumping high enough to be up above the Gear Golem, where he then pointed his keyblade in front of him, and performed a downward aerial strike. He then teleported up into the air again, and repeated the process 14 more times. After 15 hits, Lego ended his attacks against the Mechanical Monster, as he landed back on to the ground. The Gear Golem charged towards Lego, but quickly did a dodge roll, avoiding getting attacked.


Once Lego got back on his feet, he raised his Keyblade up into the air, where he began to spin it like a wheel. As he did, it was covered in a dark purple veil again. Lego charged towards Gear Golem, running around it and jumping while swinging his Keyblade. Due to the Gear Golem having a solid mechanical body, the attack wasn't able to do much damage against it. After the attack, the dark purple veil disappeared around Lego's Keyblade. The Gear Golem dashed towards Lego again, but he was able to avoid it once again.


Lego regained his composure again. He charged towards Gear Golem once more, using Dual Arcanum. Lego carried his Starlight Keyblade with his right hand, and summoned out his Lady Luck Keyblade with his left. As he summoned out his second Keyblade, it was veiled in a light blue aura, as his Starlight was veiled in a bright light. Lego struck Gear Golem 13 times with this attack, making several slashes and scratches form on its body. When the attack ended, he dismissed his Lady luck Keyblade, as the veil on his Starlight faded. After Lego's attack, the Gear Golem dashed towards Lego once more, but as it charged towards Lego, it raised it's right arm, and quickly swung it down on Lego. But before it's arm could do damage to Lego, he quickly brought his Keyblade above his head, using it to block the Gear Golem's right arm. Below Lego's feet, the asphalt cracked, giving into the impact done by the Gear Golem. With the attack successfully blocked, the Gear Golem moved away from Lego, as he was starting to breathe heavily.


With the distance that was between them, Lego started to generate yellow and dark purple electricity around his Starlight Keyblade. He then reeled his arm back, and threw his Keyblade at the Gear Golem, where he performed Dark Thunder Raid. The Keyblade struck the Gear Golem directly at the emblem on the centre of its body, as the yellow and dark purple electricity coursed through it's body, causing it to twitch and stagger. Once the electricity went away from the Keyblade, Lego reeled his Keyblade back, as the electricity disappeared. The Gear Golem pulled itself back together after the electricity faded out from its body, where it then charged towards Lego. It raised it's right arm above Lego, and brought it down. However, Lego blocked the attack once again. But with this, he had left himself wide open, as the Gear Golem's left arm swung sideways towards Lego, striking him on the right side of his body, and into a wall, crashing through it.


With pain being felt all over his body, Lego did everything he could to get back up, as he dug himself out of the pile of bricks from the now broken wall, and got back to his feet. However, he felt his stamina waning, but mostly felt pain all over his entire body. He knew that he couldn't keep fighting like this forever. If he were to be hit with another attack like that, he was finished. He knew that their was only 1 option left for them to do, and he needed to do it now. Lego used his skill ability, Time Splicer, where he casted Stop on the Gear Golem, making it stop right where it was. With the Gear Golem defenseless, Lego delivered a barrage of attacks all over the Gear Golem's body, cutting away at it piece by piece, until time resumed again. The Gear Golem waivered a moment, then fell to the ground, its body disappearing, revealing a Heart, that floated up and vanished. With the battle over, Lego was exhausted, panting heavily. With the battle over, Lego felt relief, as the adrenaline in his body started to fade, and the pain his body endured was felt. When the pain surged through his body, Lego winced, doing what he could to not scream in agony. He quickly reached for his duffel bag that was near him, and immediately took out a bottle of potion. As he started to drink it, he could feel his body healing itself. With the Heartless gone, and seeing the amount of destruction that was left from the battle, Lego ran off as fast as he could, before anybody could come to the scene and find him.
