Kingdom Hearts Union X: Afterstory Chapter 4 pt. 1
At the outskirts of a city, laid an abandoned home. However, the outside of the home looked abandoned, but inside, was an occupant who made the house their home. Inside one of the bedrooms upstairs, an alarm clock went off, signalling the occupant to wake up. After turning off the alarm clock, they got up from the worn out mattress that was left abandoned with the house years ago, as they made their way downstairs to make themselves breakfast. As the occupant of the home turned on the stove that was miraculously still working, they went to the fridge that had its electrical wiring fixed, took out a stick of butter and placed a small amount on a frying pan, cracked two eggs and began to cook. As the occupant was cooking, their phone began to ring, telling them that they were getting a call. As they brought the phone to their field of vision, the caller ID said 'Principal'. As the occupant of the home connected the call, they spoke.
????: Hello?
Principal: Hello there. May I talk to Lego?
Lego: Speaking.
Principal: Oh thank goodness. Lego, I need you to come to the High School today, one of our teachers called in sick today and we need a substitute. Can you make it in today?
Lego didn't have to think twice about making his answer.
Lego: I'll be there as soon as I can.
Lego hanged up, where he then placed the cooked eggs on a clean but cracked plate, and began to eat his meal. Once his meal was finished, he quickly put on his red clock suit, grabbed his brown duffel bag, and was out the front door. Lego made his way to the bus stop as quick as he could, but unfortunately saw the bus he needed to catch already at the stop. As he saw the bus driver ready to close the bus doors, Lego raised out his left hand, and casted a spell on the bus.
Lego: STOP!
Lego cast Stop on the bus, resulting in the bus, the bus driver, and the other occupants inside to be frozen in time. Lego quickly made it to the bus doors, and released the spell from the bus. As the bus driver had his hand on the bus lever, he quickly jumped in shock as he saw Lego right beside him, revealing his bus pass.
Bus Driver: Sorry about that, fella. Didn't realize you were there.
Lego: Don't worry. It happens all the time with me.
Once Lego was cleared that his fare was paid, he took a seat, while the bus driver closed the doors and began to drive into the city. When the bus made its way into the city, Lego pressed the yellow bar to make a stop request. As the bus approached the bus stop near the school, it came to a stop, opening the doors for Lego as he got off. Lego looked at the school in front of him, where he saw that the school in the way it was built and designed looked very familiar. But he paid it no mind, as opened the main doors and went inside. Lego began to walk the hallways of the school, until he found the room he was looking for. The Principal's Office. Lego knocked on the door several times, where he then heard a voice to come in. Lego opened the door, and there he saw an middle aged Lion, who was a bit on the heavy side. It was the Principal.
Principal: Ah hello there good sir. May I take it that you are the one known as Lego?
Lego: Yes sir. That would be me.
Principal: Thank Heavens that you could come on such short notice. I received a call earlier today from one of our teachers, Billie Jean, saying that she wasn't feeling well and called in sick. Now I need you to take her place and manage her class for today.
Lego: It's not a problem, sir. And where would her class be located?
Principal: It's on the Second Floor. Room 207. You can't miss it.
Lego: Thank you, sir.
Principal: Don't mention it.
Lego left Principal Leo's office, and made his way to the Second Floor. Lego continued to walk down the Second Floor Hallway until he found the room he was looking for. Room 207. Lego entered the empty classroom, knowing he didn't have much time left before the students would make it into the class. Lego went to the teacher's desk, and saw numerous text books on the desk.
Lego: This must be the subjects this teacher was teaching the class.
Lego opened his duffel bag, and took out a red book.
Lego: Glad this was still with me when I appeared on this unknown World.
Lego opened his book, and it began to glow. As it did, the pages on the book began to turn very rapidly, with each page being filled with the information from all of the textbooks. As it reached the final page, the book stopped glowing, and closed on its own.
Lego: That should do it. Now all that's left is to wait for the students.
30 minutes had passed, and the time for the first bell for the school day was about to ring. The class had filled up within that time span, while everyone saw a different teacher in the class instead of Mrs. Bull. Once the bell rung, Lego started his class.
Lego: Good morning, Students. My name is Mr. Christiansen.
Lego waved his left arm to the chalkboard, with his name written down before class started. As he did, he could hear some of students in the class giggle and snicker, but he knew that it was to be expected from his name. Lego did nothing but smile as he brushed it off.
Lego: As most of you may always have figured out, I am your substitute teacher for today while Mrs. Bull is absent. However, I have seen the notes that were left behind by her, and have seen where she had previously left all of you from the day before in her lessons. So I will resume from where she stopped from. Does anyone have any questions before I start?
Lego waited for 10 seconds, but nobody raised their hands, showing nobody had any questions, or any objections.
Lego: Very well. Let's begin.
Lego opened his red book, and began to write down the lesson for Science. As he was writing down the topic lesson for Science, three of the students, Squeek, Frizzy, and Synnabunn were writing down on their notebooks. Frizzy was writing down everything that Lego had put on the chalkboard with ease, picking up on all of the information that he was both writing and saying out to the class. Squeek was doing her best to get the information that was put on the board, but became easily distracted and started to doodle a small drawing of Shred on her notebook. As for Synnabunn, she was doing the best she could to get down what was being written down on the board and what Lego was saying to the class, but was having a hard time trying to pick up information for both. Synnabunn could only mutter to herself as she struggled to both write down and listen to the Substitute teacher.
Synnabunn: Damn. It's so hard to try and keep up with all of this. If only I had more time to understand all of this.
Synnabunn did her best to keep up with the lesson, but she could hear someone make a 'psssst' sound her way. She ignored it the first time, but after several more attempts, she became annoyed and turned her head to the direction it was coming from. Synnabunn turned to her right, where she saw Tommy-Boy, who had a paper airplane made and ready.
Tommy-Boy: Hey, Synnabunn. Bet you I can get this plane to land on the tip of his hair on the top.
Synnabunn: Tommy. I'm trying to concentrate.
Tommy-Boy: Oh come on, Synn. Lighten up a little.
Tommy-Boy threw his paper airplane, and watched as it made its way towards the back of Lego's head. However, just as it was about to reach the back, both Lego and the paper airplane instantly disappeared, leaving Tommy-Boy and everyone else completely bewildered.
Lego: I take it this airplane belongs to you, Tommy?
Tommy-Boy became scared, as he turned around and saw Lego, who was standing right behind him, holding his paper airplane.
Tommy-Boy: How do you know it's my plane? Maybe it's somebody elses?
Lego: Really now. Seeing as this sheet has the name Tommy on it, and looking at your desk, I see the name Tommy written on your notebook. With the exact same writing style.
The entire class was completely silent, trying to piece together what had just happened and what was going on.
Lego: Tommy. I strongly suggest you not try that again. Because the next time, I will not be as lenient.
Lego dropped Tommy's paper airplane on his desk, and went back to the board to continue the lesson. Not much had occurred during the rest of class besides the lesson in Science changing over to English one hour later, until everyone had left for the cafeteria for lunch. In the cafeteria, Squeek, Frizzy, and Synnabunn sat at an empty table, all three of them talking to one another.
Squeek: Did you see what Mr. Lego did when that paper airplane almost git him? It was freaky. I have no idea how he got from one end of the classroom to the other in an instant.
Frizzy: I have been pondering on hypothesis' regarding that, and I still haven't found a conclusive answer.
Synnabunn: Yeah....it was something wasn't it....
Squeek and Frizzy both looked at Synnabunn, who showed that she was just playing with her food and not really focusing at what her friends were saying.
Squeek: Synnabunn. Are you okay? Your mind seems to be elsewhere.
Synnabunn: I'm sorry, Squeek. It's just that I have been trying to do better at my grades, but it feels like I just can't get ahead or understand what I need to.
Frizzy: Aww don't worry, Synnabunn. I can help you out with it.
Synnabunn: I guess....
Synnabunn started to continue to eat her lunch, as all three of them finished before the lunch period was over. Everyone returned to the classroom, where Lego began to start the lesson on History. Besides a few disruptions, the classroom was rather calm. With 2 hours left into the school day, Lego finished the lesson on History, and began to start on the final subject. Math. For Frizzy, Math was a easy subject. For Squeek, she may not have a been strong on many subjects, but Math was her strongest. But when it came to Synnabunn, her weakest subject was Math, and always had trouble when it came to calculations. Lego wrote down each mathematical formula for everyone that was needed for their math assignment, but as he was reaching the last math formula, he could see Synnabunn was writing down the math formulas, but showed signs that she was having trouble. As Lego was finishing up the lesson, the school bell rang, ending the school day.
Lego: Well class. That is all for today. Remember to review your notes and have your homework finished for your teacher tomorrow.
Everyone in the classroom got out of their chairs, packed up their belongings, and were making their way to the door. But as Synnabunn was about to get up from her seat, she heard Lego's voice.
Lego: Synnabunn. I would like you to stay after class. I need to have a word with you.
Synnabunn's ears shot straight up, fearing that she was in trouble. She turned to see Squeek and Frizzy, who both had expressions of worry in their faces.
Synnabunn: Don't worry about me. I'll catch up with you two.
Squeek: It's okay. We'll be waiting right outside the hall.
Squeek looked at Lego in suspicion, wondering what he wanted with Synnabunn, as she and Frizzy left the classroom. When it was just only Lego and Synnabunn left inside the classroom, he approached the classroom door and closed it.
Lego: Now then. That should give us some privacy. As for why I asked for you to stay, I wanted to have a talk with you.
Synnabunn began to feel worried, wondering what Lego wanted.
Synnabunn: Mr. Lego. What is it you want with me?
Lego: I wanted to ask you about the lessons I gave to the entire class. Are you having any difficulty regarding them?
Synnabunn: I.....Uhh.....
Lego: Synnabunn. It's okay to tell me. I'm here to help you if you're having trouble understanding any parts of the lessons.
Synnabunn took a deep breath, and decided to tell Lego the truth.
Synnabunn: Mr. Lego. I'm not that good when it comes to stuff like this. I mean, when it comes to sports or anything athletic, I get really high marks on them. But when it comes to learning from a desk, writing, trying to understand anything that uses my brain, I always struggle. So much so that trying to keep my marks from being failing grades takes everything I have to just get them there.
Synnabunn looked down, feeling a bit embarrassed and ashamed that she wasn't really book smart. That was when she could hear Lego approach her, but didn't look up.
Lego: Synnabunn. There's no need to feel ashamed about that. You just need a helping hand, and a different approach in regards to learning it. So tell you what. Take out your notebook, and let me know what parts in each subject you have trouble understanding.
Synnabunn: But Mr. Lego. The day is already over. We won't have any time to go over everything I need help on.
Synnabunn still felt down, but Lego did nothing but smile in regards to having limited time.
Lego: No time you say? Well then. If that's the case.
Lego approached the classroom windows, and raised out his hands outwards.
Lego: STOPZA!
Instantly, the sun's rays turned from a orange yellow, to a bright blue, which made Synnabunn wonder what he had just done.
Lego: There we go. Now we have all the time in the world now.
Synnabunn: What....what did you just do?
Lego: I froze time all around us. The only part that is still able to move is only the two of us in this classroom.
Synnabunn: Is that how you were able to get behind Bobby in that instant?
Lego: Yes. I stopped time for a few minutes, and saw he was the one responsible. To be honest, not really the best idea to use paper with his name on it.
Both Lego and Synnabunn began to chuckle, as they then went right to business.
Lego: Now then.
Lego took out his red book, and opened the pages.
Lego: Shall we get started?
Synnabunn smiled, feeling happy that someone was doing a lot out of their way to help her.
Synnabunn: Yeah.
Synnabunn moved one of the front desks to the side, showed every part she had trouble understanding, and Lego went through every one of them, thoroughly explaining each one in detail, and even showing examples in ways that helped her understand. Using different kind of sports to show when it is applied. When it came to Math, he went through it with her as detailed and as carefully as possible.
I would like to say that yes, Lego specializes in time spells. Where his outfit is kind of a dead giveaway on that. But can only cast Stop, Stopra, Stopga, and Stopza, and for a limited amount of time. As for who he is as a person, he would always be there to lend a helping hand whenever he could in regards to teaching someone.
