I believe that key is from a Triang toys clockwork boat

Shape didn't match up, but knew it was similar. It is from the Triang owned International Model Aircraft Ltd, and was used on the clockwork boats manufactured under the Penguin line. This company also released the first plastic model kits ever produced.
