Inugami no Sukune from "Phoenix: Sun" by Osamu Tezuka
The manga spans from the Battle of Baekgang (663) to the accession of Emperor Tenmu (673), so I draw with a Asuka period(538~710) clothing.
And I also used some ancient korean clothing, because Inugami comes from Baekje in the story.
"Phoenix" is a masterpiece of Osamu Tezuka, and it also contains a lot of content about Japanese history. I highly recommend it.

"Phoenix: Sun" is the greatest one of Mr. Tezuka's last works, I think!😢 This is his answer to historical issues of Imperial Japan, too. I think if Inugami would be of royal blood of Baekje, if I remember correctly.
"Phoenix" series is Mr. Tezuka's life work. But he could not complete the series due to being killed by desease, when I was a kindergartener...😔
