After a hard escape of the Thanorian Army, they managed to find solace atop the difficult climb of the Dragon Mountains. The mighty beings the dwelt there accepted their ascent and recognized them as Summoner and Guardian. Therefore, the Mountain welcomed their presence for as long as needed. Now that her face was associated with her talent, her identity was no longer hidden. She could no longer use a guise as a peasant girl. Likewise, being a prince and on his home continent, Flickie too was a familiar face to many. His other nail in his coffin was his bright hue, his feline tail and obscurely long ears. It was difficult for him to disguise himself, even with magic or costuming.

The found a small cave that lead to a ledge outside. It was quite high up the mountain. By now, the sun had begun it's descent. Exhausted, they decided to rest here together. They sat in silence, enjoying one another's company. It would be a long climb down when they decided that it would be time to go back to their mission at hand, but for now, they would have to use their time wisely to rest and plan.

Secretly, or perhaps not so secretly, they did enjoy the random periods of downtime. It gave them chances to exist together outside of the chaos that always seemed to be waiting for them to make a wrong turn.
