There has always been a rivalry between WulfBane and Polaris. They usually keep it friendly, working for the same cause but finding their own ways to compete and attempt to one up each other. But the rivalry does persist, planting seeds in their subconscious.

While exploring an ancient temple, they unknowingly unleash a power that infects them both. It has no malice but a drive to fuel their desires. It soon enough finds the seeds hidden deep in their subconscious begins to feed and nourish them. The inner need to be the better one turns into the outer expression of becoming bigger. Witnessing their growth only fueled their egos and desire for more. To be bigger. To be better. To be more then their opponent.

Not just to win, but to dominate. But so even was their spirit of competition that their combat of size continued at an equal but exponential rate. Rooms. Buildings. Blocks. Cities. They were all quickly dwarfed by the might of the macro wolf and bear. It wasn’t long before they became entities of raw muscle, size, and pure power.

It was only when their haunted catalyst of growth was finally exhausted did their swelling finally slow. Stopping short of surpassing the planet itself, their fiery egos remained. Locked in a stalemate, the shoving match continued with neither one wanting to be the one to back down first.
