(OH LOOK AN ORIGINAL CHARACTER WHO HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH UYRAIES)
Osmanthus.
She-who-loves-rats and collector of knick-knacks. Named after the devilwood. Or Ramses II, whichever one you hear when she tells you.
Ozy is where some anachronisms come from. She has the ability to disappear and reappear in many places in many different times. Sometimes she even finds herself walking in places where there is no tangibility or passing of time. Things like dreams and memories. The problem is, Ozy has absolutely no control over this ability and usually has no idea where (or when) she is. Because of the chaotic and unpredictable nature of her existence, she doesn't develop many close relationships with people, some of whom may not even be there at all, in the case of memories and dreams.
However, sometimes she takes a treasure from her travels. To her, this is a solid evidence of her existence and visits to other places. The only lasting impact she leaves on the world is when she leaves one of her treasures somewhere or gives it to someone else.
I originally wanted to make her a descendent of the Wandering Jew. Maybe she still is, but I think that there's something very sad and lonely about the way she lives.

and freckles...something you don't see enough of
I expect that she runs around in the sun a lot, even though she's constantly changing locations, so freckles are a given. I should give her ridiculous freckles on her arms and legs.
Also, her look reminds me of someone whom is about to sell me something. And I won't be able to refuse. And it's going to be cool.
She'll give you a story for a treasure, or a treasure for a treasure, or a story for food, or treasure for food.
She enjoys mangos, when and where she can get them.

Funnily enough, although they're not related, Osmanthus and Wandering Jew are two different kinds of flowering plants.
