For my good friend Zuki, who is even more of a Prisoner nut than I am. That's his fursona assuming the seat of power. Looks like he survived the ultimate test.

Penny Farthing? Check.
Spotlights? Check.
Rainbow umbrella? Check.
White-soled shoes? Check.
Cordless, L-shaped phone...?
We have a problem, Number One.
:)
Good picture! It reminds me vividly of the first time I saw THE PRISONER, when it replaced THE JACKIE GLEASON SHOW on American TV in 1968. As a child, I was repulsed and sickened by Rover, and frightened by Number Six -- he was a prisoner, and therefore the villain, and therefore evil... right? Right? So why did the program focus on a villain...?
I had a lot to learn. ;)

While the cordless phone omission is indeed grave, one could easily debate whether there really was a "Number 1."
I was introduced to the series in my early teens, so I didn't have those same issues. I did at first hate the show because it made no sense. But then I sat and watched an episode from start to finish, and was hooked.

It was definitely one of the most bizarre and confusing shows I've ever seen, but it was also perhaps the most original for its time and still today.
If you do manage to catch an episode or so, just remember, it was made in England during the 60's. So basically, imagine that your eyes are high on crack and you'll be okay.

Woot! thats an amazing looking pic but you already know I like it! I should get it on a t-shirt for the con ;)
Id say That number 1 being the prisoner int he final episode was a euphemism for the fact we are all prisoners of our own violition by accepting society as its presented to us.
The prisoner was trying to be very subversive and some say was a commentary on western society i general...
Still yeah it was aslo drugged up acid inspired weirdness too! lol
