Well, I would like to say it was an effect of crude jokes, bad humor and a certain bodily discharge, but the truth is I copped it from the Making Of featurette from the Spaceballs DVD. I believe the direct quote is "Mel Brooks... plays Yogurt, who dispenses galactic wisdom, with fruit at the bottom"

So, I liked the catch line and the name and it stuck. Particularly it would be strawberry Yogurt. I like strawberry.
