So the big secret that isn't big nor a secret is that I actually really like Metroid, though I only recently had the chance to play games that weren't Super Metroid or Metroid fusion.

Having now played all but like, the DS spin-off games and the original Metroid II (SORRY) it now sits comfortably in my top games alongside things like Resident Evil and Silent Hill, so it comes as no surprise that Savant would end up inspired.
