I've been wanting to make a formalised piece featuring the new Gunangel for quite some time now and it seems I finally got something.

For those of you wondering, yes it's still steam powered in that it uses a unique, catalytic process that converts peroxide into steam which powers it's 3 turbine engines. This particular model however had it's ducted fans done away with for added 'realism'.

On a technical note, I was testing out some effects in photoshop aiming for a hardline, sheen look but instead I got a lively anime-ish style. So I pursued it using some fancy tricks with layered~feathered edges, I didn't expect a cellshaded effect to work out so well. For once something good happened by accident.
