Sometime in the future, Throttle and Jet make a pair of babies. Twins, in fact, who grow up to be these two munchkins, Caras & Nova.
Martians, of every species, are much more likely to become pregnant with multiples than human women and can carry these pregnancies with less risk of complications. Twins are just as common as single births and triplets are not uncommon. Larger litters, however, are a rarity.

Oh my gosh this is something that I've theorized myself while I was working on a chapter of My Martian Girlfriend, my own little story series that I've been working on for sometime now. In it, it's theorized that Martians have 10X fertility than Humans, and no matter their age, teen, young adult, adult or elder, male Martians are still fertile and very rarely face the issues humans would.
These little angels are so adorable! :D Love to see more cool art of them sometime in the future, maybe see Throttle dealing with them in their teenage years and the unpredictable phases that follow. :P Just don't ask me to babysit them at this age, I just might teach them some dirty Afrikaans jokes. :P
