02-23-20 [Kentucky Fantasy: Chloe the Rocket Dog]
Hey noodle what did you do today?
Well I woke up at 11:34ish 'cause dad came downstairs and suggested we go to the houseboat area and prune back some of the fruit trees before it rained. I woke up and brushed my teeth, then headed upstairs and ate the last 2 slices of pizza. After, I had to go bathroom but dad was using the half-bath so I headed downstairs and went. It took a while, but when I finished I went upstairs and mum and dad and I headed to the property in the Polaris. The clouds were pretty overcast, but there wasn't any rain in the area yet, so the fire was still smoldering and smonking. We cut back the fruit trees with clippers, and dad explained the ideal shape for each tree and type. I suggested burning back the thorns growing on the nearby hill, but he pointed out those were all blackberries...Oof, best keep those!
After cutting back the trees we threw them into the fire, then we picked up Chloe and left. We drove down Low Road then down Lazy Day, then toward the lake and past Kyle Beach. We headed back up to the property to inspect the fire, and when that happened I had them drop me off by the froot trees. I had an idea for a new art project I wanted to do, so I snapped some photos of mundane things (A tree we pruned, the water spigot, the electric box), then went back to the fire. I rescued a black beetle from the giant log we moved on top of the fire, and snapped a photo of him before he left.
After, we headed home. I went downstairs and spent some time playing craftmines and watching tubes, then around 6ish mum called me upstairs for dinner. I went up there and it smelled a bit wack, and that's 'cause it was salmon patties. GROSS! Thankfully she made me 2 grilled ham n cheese sammiches, which I ate with those tasty Grippo chips! After, I took an ornj downstairs and spent some more time doodling an augmented reality style pic. I wound up staying up until about 2ish chatting with frands and doodling.
I hope everyone has a tree-pruning day! <333
