02-12-20 [Soft light, happy face]
Hey noodle what did you do today?
Well I woke up at around 12:30 when my birbs started chirping, then I got a shower and got ready and drove into town. Mum wanted me to pick up some moss and some Fabuloso Lavender scented floor stuff, but first I wanted to go to Arby's again!
I called grandma en route and she said she went to the fireman's brunch and had a good time with her frands, and that she was saying prayers for me and for her other kids who are out of work. She really hopes Tom can start selling his art at shows. While talking to her I arrived at Arby's, so I parked and finished the conversation (it was super rainy!), then after chatting I ordered 2 chicken sliders and 2 buffalo chicken sliders and a large conke once more...But this time it cost $7.58 instead of $6.58...Perhaps they misread something to me last time.
A semi was blocking the back parking spots I usually use, so I pulled beside the building and ate while listening to the radio and watching the rain. After finishing, I drove to Benton. Mum called while I drove and asked me to check the mail when I got back, since she didn't wanna hafta deal with the rain. I agreed, then when I got to Walmart I parked and went inside and did some shopping. In addition to the headphones I needed for the possible online teaching job, I also got some mucinex pills to refill my supply (I got 2 packs of them...You never know!) and some ivy to turn into a terrarium. I saw Kendra leaving while I was getting my stuff, which I bought at the electronics area, since they had to take the alarm off the headphones.
After buying the stuff, I left and drove home. The rain was still falling, but the Benton Bottoms weren't flooded, though that didn't stop a vehicle I was following from stopping before the last bridge and waiting until it was clear from the opposite direction before taking it. Strange! Clearly a shaky driver!
I got home and checked the mail, which was strangely empty! I went inside and glued some fake moss to the base of Cindy's gift, as well as put a toothpick in the base to shore it up a bit. It looked pretty good, and because mum wanted me to head over with her I waited upstairs and browsed my phone. Around 3:20 she said it was time to head over, so we went over (still raining...She had an umbrella and a shrimp platter, I had the gift and her wine) and Carol was arriving just as we were. I went up the ramp, which was super dangerous due to being slick, but I managed to do it without falling...Yey!
Cindy was happy to see us, and she was extremely stoked about her gift, and showed me a bead-tree she made. It looked like a Christmas tree and had wired beads in the shape of the branches. It was kept under a glass globe (like the one in Beauty and the Beast that's around the rose) and had many mini-gifts beneath it...It even had a mini version of itself! I took a photo for future inspiration.
I then headed back to the kitchen and chatted with Paul and Cindy and Carol for a bit about the job hunt, then around 4ish I decided to head back home. As I did I chatted with Carol and Dawn on the porch, who were busy smonking weeeeeed. They offered me some, but I said I better not, since I am trying to find a new job.
I went downstairs and tried to put in some applications, but as expected the rain was kicking out the internet signal a bit. I was able to chat with Pyra-frand with headphones, and he and I chatted about planps and possibly him getting pet chickens in the future! After about 30 minutes he was getting picked up from college by his dad, so I said goodbye. I went upstairs and got some poptarts and some Sprite ('cause I needed to change the battery in my mouse), but when I came back down I didn't eat them...Also I found out that the battery was probably fine, but the link-up USB thing needed to be unplugged and replugged. Sorry for throwing you away, old battery! D:
I spend some time doodling birbs and watching Duckman ('cause I saw the Nostalgia Critic thing about it), then played some craftmines for about an hour and a half around 12:30. I then got off there and cleaned the basement a bit, then edited my story a little and then typed a bit. I stayed up until almost 4, because naughty nodl!
I hope everyone has a Cindy's 70th kinda day! <333
