Got this done just in time. In years past March 14th has been ‘Save A Spider Day’ sponsored by the ASPCA, but this year they don’t seem to care much about the spiders anymore for they haven’t even announced it this year. Never fear, Audubon Society is here with this year’s “Be Kind to Spiders Day” today.

Either way, I wanted to bring some small measure of awareness to the Katipo, one of the worlds few recognized endangered spiders native to New Zealand (where else?).

I am not sure. XD
They're this small brown spider species, about dime.. sized-ish? They live on the back porch. I don't know too much about arachnids, my area is more reptiles.
I just know a lady spider must have gotten inside and had an egg sack. So I had to chase the babies around with my moms creaming. Not an uncommon sight in my house. xD
