Here's a new picture of my Lister bunny. He's generally not interested in sitting still when I have the camera out but this time he did pretty good.

I actually have 2 mini-rex bunies. My other, Lulu is also pictured in my gallery. They are pretty good bunnies. Lister tends to go to the back of his cage when he does not want petted, but he is well behaved and hops all over the apartment. Lulu is a little more curious and demanding. When I walk into the room, if she wants food, she will let you know by thumping her feet or shaking her cage. I think that being tempermental or not is really based on the individual bunny more than the breed.
oh, i agree, i just heard that rex rabbits have more a tendency to lean towards the tempremental side
i mean, i have a holland lop, they are supposed to be more gently and even tempered than other breeds, but my little guy is like lulu, very demanding and will LET you know if he is not pleased XD so, yes, it is based more on the individual rabbit
i was thinking of getting a second in the future and really just wanted to know what your experience with that breed was

I have liked them very much so far. Our first bunny was a Rex (non-mini, very big) and she was cuddly and lovey. but, she was adopted and was a bit older and we didn't have her very long. We then got Lulu and a year after her, we got Lister. They both have their good and bad moments. Lister is more calm and well behaved but Lulu is the one who really wants us to pet her and play with her constantly. Lister, although, does not seem to like other bunnies much. We have his cage on the floor under Lulu's which is on a stand. When she is out walking around on the floor, he is rather unhappy.
