New Sona, Who Dis (WIP)
This is one of the last things I'm drawing with a mouse, so yes, FINALLY, it's over!
Tablet Time from here on out!
Okay, so this is the revamped character I was talking about. Err, well his dog form, at least.
Again, because I'm never clear with these things: I AM NOT REPLACING PIERROT. The lack of art with him lately is because of my inadequacy with drawing him in my current style with a mouse. He has too many complicated curls and it was frustrating. Why can't my art get EASIER over time?
My solution to issues like this just not draw them until a new tool/way can be acquired. This doesn't mean I don't like them anymore until I officially state they're retired.
I also like swapping through different fursonas now and then. It's so I don't feel trapped or bored. I usually don't retire one until I'm absolutely. sure. I hate their guts.
But, I digress.
This is Rigby. Original, right? I just love that name, I don't know why... *sweats in Regular Show*
I suddenly got really into Briards and I want one irl now. Later, though. They're too big for my apartment.
It started with me drawing my original Briard character, Buckley. A lot. And, then I wanted to be a Briard. *sigh* Please just let this brown fluffy dog last longer than the older ones I've made. π©
I totally didn't intend for him to look like a raccoon/tanuki, which is probably going to get me sued by Cartoon Network later. That happened as a result of my fluctuating mental picture of what I wanted him to look like. At first, he was more detailed, but that made me question Buckley's lack of detail and I didn't like that. So, I toned it down, to not overshadow him too much.
I ended up with a sketch that made him look like a raccoon to me and I loved it. This also coincidentally led into making a Tanuki form for my persona as well. The two share colors!
If I Fuddruck up and start disliking any of these characters, it'll ruin the whole design symmetry thing I got going on here. I better not. π‘
Anyway, he a goode boi
Edit:
Forgot to mention I added that headshot in post, that's why it looks bad. Not a good example of my skills with the tablet... π¬
