Ta-da! First fanart of the new year, 2007! The lineart for this was also done using my new Wacom tablet (graphire 6x8) that I got for Christmas (thanks Mom and Dad)!
Not many, if any, of you will know the cartoon where this character comes from. It's an old 90's obscure cartoon called Mutant League. The character that struck me as really really cool was this one, a mutant lizard guy named Razor Kidd. He was too cool. I wish they would release the show on DVD but that seems very doubtful. Oh well. Enjoy!

Oh I remember this cartoon VERY well, I have a few of the shows taped for reference! I'm kind of with Kjorteo that his sort of vain behavior was a turn off, but I still think he was rather good looking too.
...they made an action figure of him you know ;)
I really like your version of him, but I can't help but feel there's something missing on the face. I'm not sure what but that keeps bugging me, but I'm so attentive to little details, all in all it's wonderfuly done.
I miss that show so much, I watched it religiously every morning until it went off the air. I kind of liked spewter and his twin the best, him and K.T. Slayer. I actually have the action figure of him though it looks absolutely nothing like the actuall character (for one thing the figure is yellow, KT was green.) I actually wrote to one of the major designers of this show and asked if they'd ever release it to DVD. But he wasn't sure either...but I wouldn't fret. If they released something like the animated 'punky Brewster' to dvd, I'm sure this'll find it's way to dvd eventually as well.

Hee... why am I *so* not surprised you liked the orc-boys the best...
;)
Actually, I'm not too surprised the action figure is a different colour, as consistency was never the show's strong point... check out the screen-caps here http://www.diehardstudio.com/Mutant_League.html featuring KT in at least three different shades of yellow/green!
(No screencap of Darkstar tho... *sniffle!* Woulda been nice to see the twins again too, hehe.)

*grunts, studying the screen captures with widening eyes*...wow they really did screw up alot on the colors. You know, when you're a kid and so enthralled with the show and enjoying it you don't notice stuff like that!
Though, I do have some recorded footage of Darkstar *and* the twins, I used to video tape characters from cartoons I liked best, so i could draw them later on. Wish I had taped a few full length shows, never did, but I have alot of good clips.
Do you remember that one guy who was a mutant hater, and bones accidentally pushed him into that ooze or something and he was changed for awhile into a lion-type monster? I also love that one, I actually drew him a few times.
*glances over, seeing the artist tapping his paw and looking somewhat annoyed there's folks going off subject from his art*
uh...eh heh, sorry there, it' still a fantastic image you know!

I Remember this show. It was rather crappy but it was worth a watch because was loaded with muscle characters (several anthros) using speedos and tight wear.
Anyway, I love you clean and round lineart. Why don't you start a series with another characters of this cartoon? ^^

DOOOD!! YOU GOTTA DO DARKSTAR!!!! That guy was the MAN! Half the time a good-guy, half the time a baddie, all the time a smokin' orange hottie... mm-mm-mmf! XD
(In fact, he was sort of the original inspiration for the guy in my one and only submission, though I lizardified him a bit further...)
