This is quite surreal to be honest XD so much to listen to. It's very surreal. I guess because there are so many of the same notes happening. I know you didn't write it though, and also that it's how the music is supposed to work.

Also, you seem to be better at singing mid and high ranges which is a lot more prominent in this track. I think your voice has more strength in that way, compared to the lower notes, personally.

Are you training your voice in some way? Just wondered if you were going to/already do this in any professional way, I don't know much about you so... ^^;;

A very powerful piece that's for sure and it's cool that you like to do a capella stuff and that people are commissioning you to do that :)

well, I'm currently a voice major and thus receiving classical/operatic voice training. oh and "surreal" is exactly the word I used to describe it.
I am getting a degree in music education but I will continue to pursue recording contracts and produce original music.

Ah! Well that's great. I wasn't sure what was being "a voice major" cuz i dont think we refer to it the same way here :) But that's cool :D I expect it is lots of fun... I almost wish I had done something musical but I wasn't allowed to cuz I have no official music grades >.>;

Voice major means I'm attending a University specifically for music. I'm getting a degree to be a music teacher. How would you say it there?

hmmm I am not sure to be honest, I might just live under a rock hahahaha~~ People often talk about having a vocal coach and they sort of go off on their own and have "lessons" to sing and whatever.

Looking at the university/academy i know of locally here, They call it a "Vocal Degree" and also there are types like Songwriting & Arrangement and Performance in particular, I guess we'd call it a Vocal Major instead in which case XD

Thanks! the high notes are supposed to stand out, it's a little joke at the first two thirds of the song the most prominent word (that's being constantly sung at the highest ) is 'sin, sin ,sin ,sin' and then for the last third the high prominent notes say 'have pity on us, have pity on us, have pity on us'!

I think it's less of a joke, more of a really cool device to get across the meaning better.

That too but in my mind I had that catholic ideal of 'you have sinned! But the lord is kind an he will have pity on you'
