This drawing is based on/inspired by a scene from the Steven Universe episode- "Crack the whip" where Amethyst took Steven, Connie, and Lion into Beach City for a "snack break" away from their training, though during that break they also do various things in the city to have fun, including running around, going to Funland, and going to the beach while listening to Amethyst (who was a jukebox at the time) and while all of them wore a few glowsticks, including Lion which I found precious.

Not long after his encounter with Akali, on top of befriending Furok, Kat also met Wingy the Winged Kuriboh, who quickly befriended both him and the non-winged Kuriboh that Kat had gotten used to. Given that missions assigned to Kat had become less frequent, the hybrid took to Anthro City, where he could hang out with his new Kuriboh friend. Though not long after going into the city Kat reunites with Ben Fuller, another friend of his who he met during his hectic Hawaiian vacation. The two talk for a while about things that had been happening in their respective lives, for Kat he was coming to grips with his destiny as The Thief of Darkness, and the responsibility that the title puts on him, and for Ben he was honing his skills as a keyblade wielder in hopes of becoming a keyblade master someday. After a lengthy discussion they decided to walk around the city to have some fun, and that's when Kat saw a stand selling glowsticks and bought way too many of them. With so many glowsticks to use Kat got the idea to summon Furok, because he figured the dream creature would appreciate being summoned for things other than battles, which he thankfully did. Ben was also super excited to meet Furok, the sullicoot having taking a liking to him for a reason that neither Kat nor any of the members of his furry entourage knew of. Though with Furok decorated with glowsticks, the group proceeded to the park to have some fun and talk more for as long as the day would allow, while Kat played them some of his favorite music.
