This armor is for bulkier and stronger spartans. The Able Armor gives the spartan immense strength circulating most power sources to the arms and legs. Reported tests a spartan with the Able armor can lift a prowler, to that conclusion a single spartan wearing the Able System can take on a hunter head on.
But the Able must compensate for something with this mass strength enhancing system. Diverting power from shielding the Mark VI/F ABL has only 24 - 30% shielding to that of a normal Mark VI MJOLNIR armor set.
