A friend-in-common and I bought a couple of toys from a gumball/Gashapon machine a while ago & ended up trading them with one another. The thing I received from her is a jelly bracelet featuring a tiny, plastic key on a metal ring. I've lately felt creative, but wasn't sure what to draw. So I looked around my home for inspiration. I picked the little piece of jewelry as my subject, drawing it at a much larger scale to show off its details. The bracelet portion became a slightly frayed length of twine in the process.
