Sounds good! You need a pop shield though. And I would love your vocals with a little bit more mid-range EQ!

I'm actually using a dual-layer pop filter in this recording. Still getting used to it, since it equalizes totally different from my last mic ^^;;.

I'll try messing with the equalizer ^^.

Then you need to have the filter further away from the mic. There are several pops that broke through in the recording.

I always have a hard time getting the distance just right... far away that the pops don't break through, but close enough to get an intimate enough sound.

And yeah, EQ is an art unto itself! I hope you find your best sound!

My suggestion... add a pentatonic-ish guitar solo in a high octave... could be really cool

This is kinda embarrassing...but I honestly don't know any scales or anything. I'm completely self-taught, and I do what I can with what I've managed to learn on my own *smiles*. One day, maybe I'll pick up a book and learn my scales ~.

I'm glad you liked it ^^. Still learning the ins and outs of this mic, but I think I've got it pretty much figured out now (For recording guitar, anyway. Vocals might have to wait until I record another song with vocals and start trying to figure it out xP.)

I'm self taught too... You cant hear me playing alot of guitar solo riffs cause ... Im not good at it >.<
