Orchid is a Gardevoir, her unique coloration being the result of her being a variant of Gardevoir.

The Gardevoir lives within Hanara city, a city located in the Pokemon-only land of Evolutia. Compared to most towns and cities, Hanara is considered to be the most advanced Pokemon-only city there is - being comparable to most modern cities located in other Human-occupied lands and region.

Orchid is part of a very wealthy and influential family. She is incredibly kind and approachable, always responding to others with a kind and understanding smile. She is known to be very generous, often giving others her time as well as assisting them whenever she can. She is rarely fazed by any rudeness and often responds with a laugh - or at worst, a stern gaze, because of this many believe it's impossible for one to make her angry - a feat that many wouldn't wish to attempt to anyways. Orchid is also known to be playful and even flirt towards those that gain her interest.

Because of her behavior, Orchid is incredibly popular within the city of Hanara. She is considered the shining star due to her kindness as well as beauty, and any poor treatment of her often angers the citizens enough to action (despite any protests Orchid might have).

Note: The vine-like markings on her body are not tattoos, but instead an aftermath after she and her family visited a forest on vacation. The inhabitant of the forest was an enraged Trevenant that she and her sister encountered while wandering away. Orchid doesn't talk about what happened after that encounter, however she now possessed several additional traits she didn't have when she first went there - specifically one of her eyes being changed to red and the vine markings on her body.

The only remains that were found of her sister was a severed arm, chopped into pieces and scattered across the forest.
