Well, I'm working on a tattoo for myself.
I had a really awesome friend named Thurber who actually inspired me to create Butt Hurt Bunny. He died in 2008, right after we all came home from RCFM. Me and RK went to Disney, and that was the last time we saw him.
His daughter called us a few days later and told us that he had died, and I can't describe to you the feeling. There's still a void there.
We didn't go to RCFM last year. RK wants to go this year, but I'm still having trouble. I want Thurber to go with us, just like always, so while RK has his tattoo I did on him, I want one of my own so he can go with me to RCFM.
So I found this picture I have of Thurber in his Killer Bee suit with all his fursuit heads sitting around him...I want to add in the 4 or so others that were not in the picture. But anyway, the quote comes from his last livejournal entry about our trip to RCFM....found here....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F000UK_kUq4 and I found it to be something I could apply to things that have happened in my life.
I'll always miss Thurber, and I'm always going to wish he was still around. Remember to hold the people close to you even closer, and cherish all the moments of your life.
