I recently saw the latest season of Castlevania, and also bought some Castlevania games, so I'm in the mood for monsters and such.

I'll confess, till recently I didn't knew much about the series. I watched the Netflix series, loved it and now I'm playing the first Lord of Shadows game. So I don't know much of the lore.
the 3 lords of shadows games are a continuity reboot or an alternative universe (it's ambiguous), the series is based on the older games, Dracula's origens is told on the PS2 game Lament of Innocence
