I loved games, key word LOVED. I love animation a lot more, and the major reason I fell in love with games was because it felt like you could control a cartoon, partake in the action.

I had stacks of EGM, Gamepros, Gamefan and Nintendo Power and read them regularly as sometimes daydreaming of what a game could be was more entertaining than playing them, looking at what games were coming from Japan by the way of Game cave and EB world ads. I always wanted to make something like Parasite Eve, Xenogears, Resident Evil and so on.

Recently I did make some games, and honestly it kind of stomped on any interest in making any kind of game in the future. Between the constant breaking down of the engine I used despite being spot on with the coding (I used Ren'py and Adventure game studio), the lack of interest on my own behalf, the licensing nightmares (can I use this song for a hentai game? What happens if I use this boing sound effect against the creator's TOS? Will this engine owner revoke my right to sell the games because they are furry stuff?) and just having more fun using other media to tell the stories I got.

Honestly I am going to cut this vent short, but I just want to say thank you guys for supporting my attempts of making a games. I tried, and kind of didn't like it.
