out of all the clutches ive installed ive never seen one quite like that one but i have seen the ones juno is talking about XD i also have a 1960 impala with a two speed powerglide but only the cast iron version XD

I do believe that is a multi-disc clutch, higher end model cars have that instead of a single disc set up. You can throw more horsepower through one of those without it slipping
