Maaaaaaaaaaaaybe you shouldn't have gone wandering along the river. It's close enough to the nearby swamps that gators are a fairly common sight along it. Still, you know to keep your distance from them... until you came across a rather LARGE specimen reared upright and peering your way, it's large flabby gut swaying as it turns towards you. Dear lord, you have to crane your neck back just to meet the big reptile's eyes, it's so tall.

"Oi. What are you staring at?"

Ooooookay, and the gator can talk...
