I wonder if Guangua was mistaken as being a hostile alien creature that wanted to eat people and not wanting to hurt anyone she just found it easier to web up her potential new friends so she can peacefully interact with them until they realise she's not a threat. I expect she'd let them down then though Lightningale looks as though he's a bit angry at the moment.
