this ring was sld to y great grandfather on my grandmothers side circa 1949, in trade for rent from a person low on cash at the time, my great grandfather was the landlord and accepted it and 1 week of labor on his farm the "stone" is not the original one as it fell out in a fight defending my great grandmother in Elizabeth town KY, for someone trying to rob them, the guy was unconscious at the end of it, and was put in to storage until 1973, when my grandmother received it form my great grandfather, in a junk removal, she kept it an put a plastic stone that she had adored form her own jewelry collection in to the setting, in 2002 the ring was given to me by my grandmother, which is why i have it today a bit of a family heirloom.
