Everyone needs time to just kick back, relax, and unwind from the stress of the day now and then. But in Laodice's case, that free time is few and far between. After all, her schedule is full of hostage situations, ransom plots, extended kidnappings, and every other form of captivity in the book. Still, the immortal princess knows better than to complain (though it took a few hundred years to really sink in) and instead chooses to make the best of what solitude and serenity she can find. Such moments might be few and far between, but that only makes them more precious to the vixen.
